Again, from the greatest hits file. Part One was about what the chapter should do if two brothers or two sisters get into a romantic relationship. Part Two speaks directly to the men/women involved. “This is going to be the most complicated relationship you’ve ever been a part of. The difficulty rating is high, and if this thing is going to turn out well, you are both going to have to be smart about it.”

One from the greatest hits file. How should your fraternity or sorority chapter handle the inevitable situation of two brothers or two sisters dating each other? For some student leaders, it’s a real head-scratcher.

“Please don’t hesitate to ask…”

An open door policy sounds good. So does inviting people to reach out to you anytime. But, it’s not going to get you the feedback you want and need. If you really want to be in touch with the thoughts and ideas of your members or constituents, you need to take the initiative. Go where they are.
