A few tips regarding motivational point systems

Many groups use motivational point systems to incentivize involvement by members. Rather than punish, penalize and harass members to attend events, reward their dedication. I’m a fan, when they are done wisely. Here are some tips.

Are people getting tired of you?

The same event every year… the same fundraiser… the same fake enthusiasm around an activity the rest of us grew weary of a long time ago? You’re coasting on one successful thing instead of staying relevant with innovative new efforts. It’s much harder, but better for the long-term health of your organization, to constantly reinvent your organization’s activities and campus image.
