You don’t have to call it recruitment, but you better start doing it…

I’m sharing this video, because Michelle Guobadia is speaking up about the most critical issues facing historically-Black and culturally-based fraternities and sororities, and she hits it out of the park in this video, filmed at the AFLV Spotlight Stage event in St. Louis (February 2011). Michelle (a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and a professional fraternity/sorority advisor) tells members of these organizations, “You don’t have to call it recruitment, but you better start doing it if you want your organizations to be relevant.” A real button-pusher for these undergraduates, but in my mind, a message they’ve been needing to hear for some time.
